Bloog Lite - Free Wordpress Theme

Installing Bloog Lite Theme (Administration Panel)

• Get a copy of  Bloog Lite Theme
• Log in to the WordPress Administration Panel.
• Click on Appearance -> Themes -> Add New
• Click on Upload Theme button at the top and browse the downloaded zip file in your computer.
• Click on Install button and then Activate the theme.

Installing Bloog Lite Theme (Cpanel / ftp)

• Get a copy of Bloog LIte Theme
• Unzip the downloaded zip file.
• Upload the unzipped file in to /wp-content/themes/
• Now, activate the theme by going to Appearance -> Themes in the wordpress dashboard.
• Activate the Bloog Lite and Click on “Customizer” in the Appearance Menu in the Dashboard.

• Backup your existing theme folder
• Copy the files inside "bloog-lite" folder from the zip file of the latest version of  Bloog Lite Theme.
• Enter the theme's admin panel and save your options.

• Log in to the WordPress Administration Panel.Go to Appearance > About Bloog Lite.
• Click on "Import Demo "
• Install Instant Demo Importer Plugin and activate it.
• Click on "Install Demo".

This theme provides a 'Home Page' template for your home page. Please follow these steps to configure your home page with 'home page' template.

• Go to Dashboard > Pages > Add New.
• Create a Page (for your home page).
• Enter the Title (e.g. 'Home') and and assign the page with 'Home Page' Template.
• Click on 'Publish' button.



• Now Go to Dashboard > Settings > Reading.
• Set 'Front page displays' option to display 'A static page'.
• Then Select the Page (home page created with 'home page' template) from 'Front Page' Drop Down List.
• Now configure the home page sections.

Site Identity

• Enter your Site Title and Tagline

Favicon Settings

Choose/Upload your Favicon Images.

(Note: This feature is present by default with wordpress 3.0 and above. If not uploaded from there then this will work as favicon.) 

Header Logo Display Option

Check this check box to display header logo.

Background Color

Choose Background Color of the header.

Background Image

Upload the header background image.

Static Front Page

Create your static page and use it as front page.

(Note: you must create the Page first. From Admin > Page > Add New)

Choose Posts For Slider

• Select the posts to display in home slider.

Slider Mode

• Select the slider mode of home slider fade or horizontal.

Slider speed

• Enter the slider speed.

Transition Speed

• Enter the slider pause duration.

Auto Slide Option

• Check the checkbox to stop auto slide of the slider.

Choose Categories

• Choose the categories to display the posts posted in that category in home page.

Comment Numbers

• Check this checkbox to show the number of comments in that post.

Home Page Layout

• Choose the layout for home page. Fullwidth/ Gridview / Fullwidth with slider.

Comment Numbers

• Check this checkbox to enable comment number in home page posts.

Category Page Layout:

• Choose the layout for Category page. Fullwidth/ Gridview / Fullwidth with slider.

Slider (Category Page):

• Click show slider to show slider in category page.

Single Page Layout:

• Choose the layout for Single page. Fullwidth/ Gridview / Fullwidth with slider.

Slider (Single Page):

• Click show slider to show slider in single page.

• Enter the footer text. Footer text link here.

Appearance > Menus

Add Menus for your site.

Select the main menu as Primary menu after creating it.

Go to Admin Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Widgets

And Configure Different Widgets
