Installing Eight Degree Pro Theme (Administration Panel)

• Get a copy of Eight Degree Pro Theme
• Log in to the WordPress Administration Panel.
• Click on Appearance -> Themes -> Add New
• Click on Upload Theme button at the top and browse the downloaded zip file in your computer.
• Click on Install button and then Activate the theme.

Installing Eight Degree Pro Theme (Cpanel / ftp)

• Get a copy of Eight Degree Pro Theme
• Unzip the downloaded zip file.
• Upload the unzipped file in to /wp-content/themes/
• Now, activate the theme by going to Appearance -> Themes in the wordpress dashboard.
• Activate the Eight Degree Pro and Click on “Theme Option” in the Appearance Menu in the Dashboard.

Updating Theme

• Backup your existing theme folder
• Copy the files inside "Eight Degree Pro" folder from the zip file of the latest version of  Eight Degree Pro Theme.
• Enter the theme's admin panel and save your options.

Site Identity

• Upload your Site Logo.

• Enter your Site Title.

• Enter your Tagline.

• Check to display Site Title and Tagline.

• Upload image to add site icon.

Colors

• Select color to change color of Site Title and Tagline.

• Select color to change background color of site.

Background Image

• Upload image to change background image of site.

Homepage Settings

• To create Homepage, Goto Admin Dashboard -> Page -> Add New Page. Enter Page name as HOME and Select Homepage in Page Template dropdown box.

• Choose "A Static page".

• Choose Page you create for Homepage.

Additional CSS

• Add your own CSS code here to customize the appearance and layout of your site.

Web Layout

• Choose Web Layout of your site.

Theme Color

• Choose color to change color of your site.

Preloader

• Choose Preloader.

  • Upload Custom Preloader .gif image.

• Choose color of Preloader.

• Choose Background color of Preloader.

Social Link Setup

• Add links of your social Networks.

Page Header Settings

• Select color to change Background color of Page header.

• Select Select color to change title color in Page header of all Pages.

• Select Yes to show overlay in Page header.

• Select color to add overlay color in Page header.

Breadcrumb Settings

• Select Yes to show Breadcrumb in Page header.

• Add Breadcrumb separator.

• Enter text to add Home.

• Select color to change Breadcrumb link color in Page header of all pages.

• Select color to change Breadcrumb text color in page header on all Pages.

• Select color to change Breadcrumb Separator Color in page header on all Pages.

Typography Settings

• Select Theme Typography to use default typography.

• Select Custom Typography to and custom typography.

  • Select Typography for Main Menu, Body and Headings

Header Design

• Select the header layout that you need.

• Select position of logo in header.

• Select Yes to enable Sticky header.

• Enter the text to show in top header.

• Enter the text you want to show in top header.

• Enter phone title.

• Enter phone number.

• Enter email title.

• Enter email address.

• Enter contant buton text.

• Enter contact button link.

Search Setting

• Select Yes to show Search icon.

• Enter the text for Placeholder in Search field.

Social Link

• Select Yes to show social in Header.

Slider Setting

• Select Yes to show Slider in Homepage.

• Choose slider type.

• Upload logo image to show before the copyright text on footer.

• Enter the copyright text to show on the footer.

• To add social links, go to Theme Setup -> Social Link Setup and add the links to shown on social links sections.

• Select color of text in Footer.

• Select text color of link in Footer.

• Select text color of link hover in Footer.

• Select background color of Footer.

Comment Setting

• Select Yes to show Comments of the posts on Single Post Page.

Author Setting

• Select Yes to show Author of the posts on Single Post Page.

• Enter text to show the title of Author section in single page.

Related Post Setting

• Select Yes to show Related posts on Single Post Page.

• Enter title to show the title of related post.

• Select the taxonomy type to the post in related post section.

• Enter number to show total number of related post.

• Enter text to show readmore text.

Appearance > Menus

Add Menu for your site.

Select the main menu as Primary menu after creating it.

Go to Admin Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Widgets
